ATCJS Lab for the Global Study of Antisemitism Profiled in The Canadian Jewish News

On February 27, 2024, The Canadian Jewish News published and article, "The study of global antisemitism is the focus of Canada’s first lab of its kind at the University of Toronto—headed by professors Anna Shternshis and Ron Levi" to announce the launch of the new Lab for the Global Study of Antisemitism at the Unviersity of Toronto housed at the Anne Tanenbaum Centre for Jewish Studies. 

The inaugural director is Ron Levi, also the director of the Global Justice Lab and a professor at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy and the Department of Sociology. 

According to the article, the Lab will serve three functions: 

  1. Conduct high-level academic research
  2. Teaching in the classroom, including designing new academic courses for undergraduate and graduate students about antisemitism
  3. Policy and communiciations
