Anna Shternshis (Al and Malka Green Professor of Yiddish studies and the Anne Tanenbaum Centre for Jewish Studies Director) presents "Yiddish Songs Documenting Holocaust in the Soviet Union" lecture as part of the Jackman Humanities Institute Alumni Research Lecture Series.
Anna's lecture focuses on the recently discovered collection of Yiddish songs that had been created by children imprisoned by the Nazi's during 1941-44. You can read more about Anna's project and her lecture here!
