Book Launch for Doris Bergen's War and Genocide: A Concise History of the Holocaust, Fourth Edition
How has scholarship and teaching about the Holocaust changed over the past 30 years? Doris Bergen's book, War and Genocide: A Concise History of the Holocaust, first published in 2003, both reflects key changes and has influenced them. Join us for a launch of the brand new 4th edition and a discussion of the past, present, and future of Holocaust Studies.
Co-sponsored by the Chancellor Rose and Ray Wolfe Chair of Holocaust Studies
Doris Bergen is the Chancellor Rose and Ray Wolfe Professor of Holocaust Studies in the Department of History and the Anne Tanenbaum Centre for Jewish Studies at the University of Toronto. Before coming to Toronto, she was a professor at the University of Notre Dame and the University of Vermont.
